Terms of Service

Synopsist is a software-as-a-service platform that enables financial advisors to generate AI-powered executive summaries from meeting transcripts. Features include manual transcript upload; automated integration with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Webex; cloud storage output to Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive; custom branding; and client email delivery of branded PDF and DOCX documents.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your firm. Synopsist is intended for professional use by financial advisors and wealth management professionals.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@synopsist.pyfunctions.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Synopsist is offered on a subscription basis with the following tiers:

• All new accounts receive a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
• After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
• All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card information.

Summaries generated by Synopsist are produced by an AI language model (Anthropic Claude) and are provided for informational and workflow purposes only.

• AI-generated summaries may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying summaries before use.
• Synopsist summaries do not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice.
• Do not share AI-generated summaries with clients without reviewing them first.

You agree not to:

• Upload content that you do not have the right to process or share.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform.
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties.
• Upload content containing malware, harmful code, or personal data of minors.

Your use of Synopsist is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You retain ownership of all content you upload. By using the platform, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service.

Synopsist, its logo, and all underlying software are the property of Py Functions LLC. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you. Generated summaries become your property upon creation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, harmful, or abusive behavior. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Py Functions LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Synopsist, including but not limited to errors in AI-generated summaries, loss of data, or business interruption. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Synopsist is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated summaries will be accurate or complete.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ohio.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
